A school awareness project was initiated whose major purpose was to deliver information about cruelty to animals and their conservation in wild. All the major bear habitat areas from Chitral to Khiplo and from Dir to Batgram were targeted for this project. The young energetic school senior students were selected from all major school in every locality and they were then trained in a way that they started to monitor the threats towards the general fauna of their locality and bears in particular and they also started convincing that almost all stake holders to stop their activities leading to threats to these species.
